WDSF Bans not working against human rights

The good news keeps on coming and the WDSF walls are crumbling. Little wonder when they are built on a rotten foundation.

Happy to annnounce that the Icelandic National Olympic Committee's judicial courts have judged the WDSF competition bans void in Iceland. This was a closed hearing so can't submit any identifiable data. The decision can still be appealed.

In total there were 5 cases heard and the court decision the same for all cases. More cases are pending.

The ruling was mostly based on the argument that athlete's needs for participating in events of their choice takes precedence over the needs of a sports federation to control the activities of their members in this way.

Thanks to Jody Frease Meijer and Dagmar Sieberichs to offer their assistance as witnesses and USA Dance for their "freedom to participate" declaration. I think they have it right head on.
