BULGARIA ESTABLISHES AMATEUR LEAGUE !!!

Dear All,

We would like to announce officially that on 18th December at the Annual General Meeting of the Bulgarian Professional Dance Association, all members voted a unanimous decision to establish an Amateur League unit in Bulgaria.

Our decision and the consequent vote are based on the complete and thorough understanding that an agreement with the Bulgarian IDSF Federation for a local mutual support and collaboration between the two Organizations is absolutely impossible. Instead of keeping the national interests of the Bulgarian couples, the local IDSF Federation is following blindly and only the directives coming from IDSF headquarters.

We, Bulgarian Professional Dance Association (BPDA), are here to withstand this trend! We shall offer a new, real Alternative for all Bulgarian couples!

Our Vice-President, Mr Bojidar Sisoev, responsible for the Dance Sport Division in BPDA, will head the new Amateur League Unit.

He will publish by mid January an ambitious program for 5-6 Amateur League competitions in Bulgaria for 2011.

At least three of these Events will be International Open Competitions and we hope that many couples, that feel themselves FREE from all over the world, will support our initiative and will come and compete at these events.
