2011 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

LUXEMBOURG, JUNE 19, 2011

Presidium’s Motions Re:
Membership in British Dance Council

1.
MOVED, that it is a policy of IDSF that no IDSF Member body
shall be a member of or affiliated with the British Dance Council.

2
MOVED, that this Meeting calls upon all of its Members and all
friends of DanceSport and sport in general to sever all their
connections with the British Dance Council.

3.
MOVED, that any IDSF Member body which continues any
formal or working relationship with the British Dance Council should
be liable to expulsion from Membership in IDSF by a Resolution or
Resolutions of the IDSF Presidium.

REASONS:

1. the recent publications and actions of the BDC
are openly hostile to IDSF and not in the best
interests of DanceSport; and

2. accordingly, formal or working relationships of
any kind with the British Dance Council have become
incompatible with continued Membership in IDSF.

A very great deal has changed since that 2009 letter was written by the BDC. The IDSF have become ever more demanding in the search for power and total control.

I would hazard a bet the BDC are tired of holding out a peace pipe to IDSF only to have it rejected time after time.

Answer is: If you hold the peace pipe out and like in old indian (red indians) days the pipe is refused -
a) you smoke on your own and with friends
b) and it means that war was declared upon you.

There is no change to that procedure :-)

So far as iur Malaysian "friends" are concerned is it not "Diuble Standards" for them to be suggesting it is the other side with "Double Standards". That however is the IDSF way - they are the only perfect ones and every other organisation is wrong.

Our Malaysian friend is so very guilty of double standards. He claims that all organisations have rules which must be followed and then attacks the British Dance Council for advising people the BDC has rules!!! So he believes only IDSF rules must be followed.

He attacks the BDC claiming they are denying Freedon to Dance? Are they?
Have the BDC forbidden any couple to dance?
Are the BDC not protecting Freedom to Dance? The BDC believe that dance competitions should be open to all and the organisation to which competitors belong does not matter. The BDC believe in Freedom and thus do not want competitions in England with restrictions, threats and bans.

When you read this Malysian website it is so typical of IDSF thinking. Post any view which they do not like and you will be attacked ridiculed, insulted. Free speech has no place at that blog. There is also so much IDSF propoganda , a huge ignorance as to the realities of the dance/dancesport world and misinformation being paraded. You feel sad for these misguided people. Well I visited twice. Never again!!

it is good we point out what all those parties involved do i.e. The Malaysians.

It foils - thwarts - counteracts their own position - we are not shy to be confronted by catholica apostolica IDSF - the very moment in time you claim to be the only one, the only true etc etc you prove already you are not - why?
Because apparently it is necessary for them to point they are.....
True believers and representatives of our dance world prove by their behavior that they represent a majority. It is the PEOPLE that decide by free opinion, action, using their freedom to.......dance, speak, act, and take action and…… choice.

We have an org. that talks about it - others implement, transform, transact, effectuate and convert in reality.
