PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WDC AL CHAIRMAN
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WDC AL CHAIRMAN - ENGLISH AMATEURS DEFY ORDERS OF IDSF DICTATORS
The WDCAL would wish to extend their respect and congratulations to the English Amateur Dancers Association (EADA) and member of IDSF for England in what reports would suggest is a comprehensive rebuff of their warmongering and dictat which mandates all IDSF members to form their own professional division.
Early reports as yet unsubstantiated by minutes of the meeting which took place this weekend on Sunday October 31st of the British Dance Council all coincide that the current leader of EADA at that meeting gave a categorical guarantee that EADA would NOT accept and implement the orders from the Presidium of IDSF and would in fact defy them refusing to form a Professional Division in England.
This if true raises as many questions as it answers. How many other countries will now follow suit and opt for freedom, peace and negotiation rather than fight a remote war from Switzerland and the administrators in the Presidium?
How can IDSF allow such exceptions for some and not others? (Well this is undoubtedly a normal day!)
In any case the WDCAL would like to reach across political boundaries and salute anyone in this case EADA, who will finally make a stand for a little moral value and freedom rather than oppression and aggression.
A copy of the speech of the President and Chairman of the BDC Mr. Bryan Allen which preceeded this item on the agenda can be read HERE
Sincerely,
Sammy Stopford
