Our life is in our hands and we are free to make a choice.
Our life is built upon many rules, which we must obey, so that we could live in a safe and beautiful world, but if the rules start to constrain our life and freedom, we must fight for justice.
The World was shaken by NACES regime and then later by Osama Bin Laden hatred, hence the control and manipulation used in our DANCE world feels somehow familiar.
So, for how much longer do we let the restrain continue, when is it enough? I believe the situation reached the breaking point at which we must save our pride as individuals and dance society.
I have happened to be teaching in Moscow after the Russian Open, where I met and chatted with some couples; they mostly were unhappy where the dance was going, namely the quality of judges and therefore the outcome of the results, but mainly expressed their concern in a vast drop in the quality of dance since restrictions came into act to Russian Amateurs dancing in the UK.
All the Golden Heritage in Dance, which was achieved up to know, will be lost in no time, unless YOU, Dancers will act now!
Just imagine for one moment the idea of the Colosseum in Rome and the Kremlin in Moscow being destroyed and exchanged into some block of flats or a motorway? Perhaps some of you would find this quite practical, but what about the History and the people who built the History for us, so we could be proud of our countries.
History is our past. The past is our relatives and families. Therefore by destroying History we in fact would destroy us.
Our Great –Grandparents fought for the better life for us, our Grandparents built a better life for us, and our Parents cherished it, so that their dreams would become our reality…
Our duty NOW – is to PRORTECT the History and the Dreams!
So choose to DANCE there, where your dreams would be appreciated!
Choose to Dance where the dance, but not the ranking will be judged!
Choose to Dance where the breakthroughs can happen!
Choose to Dance where the results can’t be pre-ordered!
Choose to Dance where you would know who you dancing for!
Choose to dance where the beauty and freedom of ideas are encouraged!
How can anyone of you sit peacefully, when one of the greatest Champions, Rudolf Trautz is band by his own country from judging, - who else then is better to decide the future champions, if Rudolf isn’t good enough?
HOW can YOU Dancers RESPECT the people who DON’T respect anything or anyone!
How CAN YOU Dancers respect and believe in organisation, who signs the Agreement stating that the 3 Major competitions in UK will NOT be affected and then the minute we show our trust in them, we are stabbed from the back by a surprise.
So the question is: Do you want to shatter the History or do you want to protect and treasure the History for the future generations to come.
