Tanzsport: Russland fordert WDSF-Reform oder 3ten Weltverband

16.05.2012, Moskau – Der russische Tanzsportverband (RDSF) will WDSF-Reformen oder international ggf. einen Weltverband gründen. In einem Manifest vom 16.05. wurde auf der Webseite des RDSF ein Manifest veröffentlicht, in dem die Kritik am WDSF sehr deutlich gemacht wird. Von Provokationen, rechtwidrigem und illegalem Verhalten des WDSF ist dort die Rede. Es werden Reformen verlangt.

Was wird geschehen, wenn keine Reformen durchgesetzt werden? Als Konsequenz ist der RDSF bereit, sich vom WDSF zu trennen.

RDSF – Die Kritik am WDSF

Folgende Passagen im englisch-sprachigen Teil des Manifests geben einen Hinweis auf die Kritik die der RDSF am WDSF übt:
(…) In 2012 one of the largest national members of the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) – Russian DanceSport Federation (RDSF) is actively and unprecedentedly protecting its internal and international interests. In the following situation RDSF has repeatedly addressed and made support requests to the Presidium of WDSF. However, multiple requests for rights and interests protection of one of the oldest national members by WDSF leaders have been ignored in the most cynical way.
In the process of development of the situation with RDSF it became clear that Mr Freitag and a number of WDSF members were one of the originators of the conflict whose actions and non-actions they provoked the split in Russian dance sport. The WDSF President personally supported RDSF illegal takeover and Russian dance sport split; he came to Moscow twice, met the raiders and ignored the RDSF direction. Separate WDSF Presidium members consulted raiders and helped them perform their illegal actions.
RDSF underlines that WDSF Presidium has been systematically breaking the WDSF Statutes and Regulation. Herewith separate WDSF national members turn a blind eye to WDSF leaders’ illegal actions and became involved into this situation.

Anm.: Wie in einem Manifest durchaus üblich, werden die Verstöße nicht erläutert oder nachgewiesen. Die sachliche Prüfung ist hier also denjenigen vorbehalten, die ausreichend mit der russischen Sprache vertraut sind.

RDSF und neuer Tanzsport-Weltverband

Die Ankündigung bzw. Androhung, international einen weiteren Weltverband des Tanzsports neben WDSF und WDC zu gründen:

(…) At the general meeting of WDSF members are to:

Vote non-confidence for those WDSF Presidium members who participated in breaking WDSF Regulation. RDSF also requests their disqualification for the life term with the ban to take any positions in WDSF;
Elect new WDSF President and new WDSF Presidium body;
Create a committee on the analysis of situations with international members. Make enquiry on performance of Presidium members and other authorities of WDSF in order to single out their stage of involvement in breaking WDSF Statutes and Regulation. Summarizing the results – to take interim measures and formulate a normative base which will further allow to suppress any attempts to break WDSF Statutes;
Create a constant supervisory authority on control and abidance by WDSF Regulation;
To all members – start effective work on the preparation for AGM-2012, work out new meeting agenda and offers on quantitative and personal composition of the WDSF Presidium as well as the prospects of further development and functioning.
In case of non-performance of the abovementioned clauses extreme measures of world dance society rescue are to be taken – to create a new world dance democratic organization based on the principles of loyalty, abidance by rules, protection of rights and interests of its members.(…)

Neuer Tanzsport Weltverband – Mein Kommentar
Die im Manifest mitgeteilte Androhung eines weiteren Weltverbandes durch den RDSF ist wohl zunächst als ein Mittel zur Beeinflussung der Entscheidungen bei dem Annual General Meeting (AGM) des WDSF im Juni in Berlin zu verstehen. Es ist jedoch unverkennbar, dass die in den Latein-Tänzen stärkste Nation offenbar mit der Interessenwahrung und den Praktiken des WDSF nicht mehr einverstanden ist. International ein beachtliches Zeichen. Insoweit hat das Manifest auch eine Signalwirkung: Keine faulen Kompromisse mehr, sondern Kurskorrektur!
